Why I Choose to Stay on Windows 10 Instead of Windows 11

Windows 10 and Windows 11 are two important operating systems from Microsoft. Microsoft made Windows 11 to be the newest and better system, but many people still use Windows 10, like me. In this blog post, I want to explain some important differences between Windows 10 and Windows 11. Also, I will talk about why Microsoft wants us to change to Windows 11. Finally, I will tell you why I decided to keep using Windows 10 on my personal computer until the support ends. First of all, Windows 11 has a new and fresh design. The start menu is now in the center of the screen, and the icons are different. Some people like this new look because it feels modern and clean. Windows 11 also has new features. For example, it has better virtual desktops, and you can run Android apps directly on Windows 11. This is very useful for some users. But Windows 10 is more simple and easy to use for many people. Also, Windows 10 works well on old computers. Windows 11 needs new hardware like a newer processor and a special chip called TPM 2.0. Many old computers cannot run Windows 11. This is one of the reasons I don’t like Windows 11, because my computer is not very new. Microsoft wants people to use Windows 11 because it is safer and faster. Windows 11 has better security features to protect computers from viruses and hackers. For example, it uses TPM 2.0. TPM means Trusted Platform Module, and it is a special chip that protects your data and makes your computer safer. Also, Windows 11 receives updates more often, so problems and security issues can be fixed faster. This is very important for security. But, some people worry about privacy because Windows 11 collects more data about users than Windows 10. This makes some users uncomfortable. Another thing is that Microsoft wants to stop supporting Windows 10 in the future. Support means updates and security fixes. After support ends, Windows 10 will not get important updates, and this can be risky. But for now, Windows 10 still gets updates and works very well. I tried Windows 11 before, but I didn’t like how it worked on my computer. It was slower, and some of my programs did not work correctly. Because of this, I changed back to Windows 10. I feel more comfortable with Windows 10 for now. I will keep using it until Microsoft stops giving updates. After that, I will think about upgrading to Windows 11 or maybe another system. In my opinion, Windows 11 is good for new computers and for people who want the latest features. But it needs stronger hardware and some users may find it difficult to learn a new system with a different design. Windows 10 is familiar and simple. It works well on many computers, even old ones. For me, this is very important because I don’t want to buy a new computer now. In conclusion, Windows 10 and Windows 11 both have good points and some problems. Windows 11 has a modern design and better security, but it needs new hardware and some people don’t like the changes. Microsoft wants us to move to Windows 11 for better security and new features. But I prefer to stay with Windows 10 until the update support ends. Everyone can decide what is best for their computer and personal needs. If you have a new computer, Windows 11 can be better for you. If you have an older computer or you like simple systems, Windows 10 is still a good choice.
